Music has been such an important part of my life since I was a young child having violin and piano lessons (and teaching myself the recorder) that nothing gives me greater joy than seeing pupils experiencing the same pleasure from learning an instrument or singing.
I teach all ages and offer a range of options in terms of the length and regularity of lessons. While a weekly lesson is fairly standard I am happy to offer lessons on a less frequent basis at the following rates:
Payment is by 12 monthly installments to cover 36 weekly lessons per year. Fortnightly lessons can also be arranged
I encourage all pupils to study musical theory as part of their lessons and base this on a graded theory syllabus.
Kodaly inspired musicianship training is also offered, either as part of instrumental/vocal lessons or independently. This is a particularly practical way of teaching musical skills and can be adapted to suit the youngest children.
Online lessons can be offered on a number of platforms including Zoom and Skype.
